These are being organised to leave on Saturday 15th May and Sunday 16th May from:
Paisley Abbey at 9 am to stop at Kelburn Castle 9:55 – 11:40 am where Glasgow Vikings have set up a living history camp. Then on to Dundonald Castle 12:20 – 2 pm where Black Raven Living History will re-enact scenes from the birth of the Stewart dynasty and finally Crossraguel Abbey (with historical re-enactments) at 2:30 -4:15 pm. The return journey to Paisley would arrive at 5:15 pm.
Tickets £23 (concessions £21) includes entry to each site – Paisley Abbey is free.

It is also proposed to run a coach with the route in reverse, starting:
Maybole Station at 9 am picking up at Ayr Railway Station at 9:15 reaching Dundonald at 10 – 11:40 am and Kelburn at 12:20 – 2 pm. The coach will reach Paisley at 2:55 pm and leave at 4:15 pm reaching Maybole at 5:20 pm. Please note that the children’s Medieval Fair in the abbey will be closing at 3 pm so there may be slight disruption to viewing the abbey at that time.
